President and CEO

Scott Davis

Scott is the inventor of Forced Physics' breakthrough technology that is described in four granted U.S. patents and, at last count, 33 international patents. Scott founded Forced Physics, LLC in 2005 and serves as Chief Executive Officer and President. In this role, he has provided business and scientific vision and leadership for the company from its inception.

Forced Physics is the realization of a lifelong dream to invent a technology that could benefit mankind. The invention of molecular beam-based cooling is the result of many years of research and study of kinetic theory. In addition to his expertise in molecular beam physics, Scott has been an innovator in laser physics and MEMS design and fabrication.

Before founding Forced Physics, Scott worked as an Account Manager with Giga Information Group, a technology analyst firm. Prior to that, he worked at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) as a Senior Project and Program Manager and later as the Western Regional Business Manager.


Chief Technology Officer

David Binger, PhD

David joined Forced Physics in 2013 and serves as the company's Chief Technology Officer. David and Scott Davis constructed and tested hundreds of prototype cooling devices with the goal of finding a scalable and manufacturable design that delivers outstanding heat transfer performance. In 2015, the team produced a laboratory-scale prototype that demonstrated high-density cooling.

Before joining Forced Physics, David worked for more than 10 years at the MEMS Exchange, a DARPA project hosted at the Corporation for National Research Initiatives (CNRI) in Reston, Virginia. As a Senior Software Developer, he led a team of developers that created a custom ERP system to manage the unique and highly complex workflows of the world's first distributed MEMS fabrication network. The MEMS Exchange built MEMS prototypes for hundreds of customers — including Forced Physics. David's research, ranging from 19th century gas experiments to modern work on gas–surface interactions, gas kinetics, DSMC, and molecular dynamics simulations, contributed to the understanding of how Forced Physics technology fit into the broader science narrative.

Prior to CNRI, David was a computer science professor at Centre College. David was a summa cum laude math major at The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. He earned an M.S. in mathematics (applied) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and then realized that computer science was more fun. He thereafter earned a Ph.D. in computer science in the area of electronic design automation algorithms.

CAO and General Counsel

Robert Davis

Robert is a founding member of Forced Physics and serves as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel. He has decades of experience and provides business legal guidance and organizational support for the company. 

Prior to joining Forced Physics, Robert served as General Counsel for a regional insurance company that has over 2,000 employees and annual revenues in excess of $400 million.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General's Corps for over five years and was assigned to Fort McClellan, Alabama, "The Military Showplace of the South.” During his years as a trial attorney, he brought over 100 cases to trial.

A graduate of Claremont McKenna College in 1976, Robert earned his law degree at McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in 1979.

Vice President Sales and Marketing

Terri Fritts

Terri joined Forced Physics in 2018 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, having been employed with major corporations such as GE Healthcare and SC Johnson. In addition, she worked in the computer industry, and established a Physician Services Department at a hospital. As the founder and President of Summit Solutions, LLC, Terri provided strategic planning and marketing consulting services to clients, ranging from small local businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

Excited to be part of the Forced Physics team, Terri is looking forward to accelerating the rapid global adoption of this ground-breaking technology. The Forced Physics innovation enables significant industry-wide reductions in energy and water usage, shrinking the footprint of data centers while providing a cost saving solution.

Proud to serve her community, Terri was elected as a school board member in Wisconsin after serving as the president of the Parent Teacher Organization. Her volunteer activities have focused on education and social awareness, and she established a non-profit foundation to promote education of under-represented girls as well as support environmental causes.

Terri and her family greatly appreciated the opportunity to live internationally, spending three years in Budapest, Hungary. She enjoys traveling and exploring diverse global cultures, riding her horses and hiking in the Sonoran desert, and dining and adventure with friends and family.

Terri graduated with an MBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her undergraduate degree at Iowa State University with a BBA in Marketing.

Director of ManufacturinG

Darren Kessner

Darren joined Forced Physics in 2017 as Director of Manufacturing. He has almost 30 years of experience developing and automating high-precision equipment and processes for a wide range of customers including industrial, aerospace, and medical. Darren's main focus is to seek out and find the newest technology that will provide customers with the most advanced and efficient solutions.

Darren joined Forced Physics to assist in moving the company from an R&D focus to the commercial market. He views the Forced Physics technology and the FP Conductor as world-changing and is excited to be a driving force introducing the technology to the world.

As Director of Product Development at Serastar Technologies, Corp., Darren improved existing product lines and developed new products based on needs fueled by the ever-changing technological side of battlefield, surveillance, and security management. He also worked as an Application Engineer/Mine Industry Specialist at IEC Supply, LLC, assisting customers with electrical, electronic component, and control selection and design. Prior to that, he spent 23 years as a Systems Control Engineer at Mundt and Associates, Inc. where he co-managed the company that designs and manufactures high precision machines and automation equipment, primarily based on CNC multi-axis lasers. He wore many hats, working on mechanical, electrical, optical, and control design, throughout all the hands-on phases of manufacturing. 

Darren grew up in Montana and joined the US Army Reserve prior to attending college at Montana State University-Northern, graduating with a B.S. in Industrial Technology Education. He earned associate degrees in Metal Technology and Mechanical Technology, as well as a one year certificate in Machining.

Director of OperationS

Christine Sirochman

Christine has a diverse background including all aspects of production manufacturing, customer service, and logistics, which has allowed her to gain in-depth experience in market sectors such as Aerospace, Medical, Commercial, Industrial, Automotive and Firearms. During her multifaceted career, she has gained intimate knowledge of each function in a manufacturing setting including machine operation and repair, design and programming, book-keeping and human resources, sales and marketing, and supply chain and planning.

During her three decades in management, she has spent several years as co-owner of a highly reputable, ISO Certified Aerospace/Firearms manufacturing company, as well as helping to navigate the intricacies of global expansion while serving as Director for several companies at different growth phases. Her passion and drive for quality has earned her a renowned reputation in the industry both stateside and abroad. As a result, Christine has received many awards of recognition, including being featured in articles in prominent industry publications.

After growing up in Michigan and graduating Cum Laude from Baker College, Christine moved her family to Arizona to continue her career and to be closer to the growing manufacturing sector that drives her passion. 

Christine is excited to be able to use her ample experience as Director of Operations to help globalize Forced Physics and change the world, one data center at a time.

Robert Girvin

Robert, a Certified Public Accountant, serves as Forced Physics' Controller, overseeing day to day financial management of the company while also providing strategic financial advice. 

He has 15 years of experience in the accounting profession, starting his career in public accounting with KPMG, and Grant Thornton, before joining Unisys Corporation as an Internal Auditor. After completing his MBA, Robert began working in startup accounting Controllership roles to blend his experiences in corporate accounting, and his passion for entrepreneurship.

For Robert, being part of the Forced Physics team is an exciting challenge, giving him the opportunity to use his skill sets and experience to help the company grow. He is excited to be part of a team that is bringing such an innovative product to market.  

In Robert’s spare time, he is working on producing a full-length feature documentary film which he is hoping to release this calendar year. He is also an active member of the Phoenix Men’s Art Council, which helps raise money for the Phoenix Art Museum and its outreach programs.   

Robert graduated with an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University in Accounting and Finance.
