ABOUT US

Forced Physics’ technology began as a brainchild of Scott Davis during the study of physics and kinetic energy.  Scott envisioned a way to get air molecules to remove heat from a surface in an efficient and novel way.  After initial patents were awarded in 2005, funding at Army Research Laboratories enabled continued development with access to fabrication equipment.  The prototype design was further incubated at the MEMS Exchange, a DARPA program. It was there that he met David Binger, PhD, who joined Forced Physics in 2013 to partner with Scott in refining the technology.

With the focus shifting from research to manufacturing in 2015, the current JouleForce Conductor was meticulously refined and became ready for mass production at the close of 2017. The Conductor is the result of years of feedback and input from industry experts. Scott is a firm believer that inventions best flourish in the hands of the inventor and methodically built the Forced Physics business and fine-tuned the technology before going to market. The JouleForce Conductor brings the first real change in data center cooling technology in decades and is the first application of Scott’s invention.
